As many of you may know, I design the blog hop badges every month for the Pals blog hops. I spent quite a while pondering what would make a great design for this Summer themed hop, and eventually, that led me to purchasing both the Storytime DSP (127193) and Storytime Ensemble Digital Kit (127195) MDS downloads. Boy, what a great decision! The colors are so bright and fresh, and the amount of elements that come in the Digital Kit is totally unbelievable! Among other things, the Digital Kit comes with: 74-piece stamp brush set, 20 Designer Series Papers and a whopping 126 embellishments!! The embellishments include all the cute characters found in both the stamp sets and on the DSP. So, on to my creation!
Many of you know that I’m prior military, and my husband is still active duty. Well, we recently got orders and will be moving from Texas to Nebraska this summer. So, that means it’s time to design something super cute to send to all our friends and family for change of address cards – this time around, well, MDS of course!
I was so inspired by the blog badges, that I decided to base our new address postcard on it! Adding the white border around the DSP background and the punch frame and letters really adds to the crispness of the design. I think this is about as CAS as I can get! Of course, I couldn’t resist adding a few kitties to represent our four fur-kids, Tag, Sarah, Iggy and Dimitry!
